Dusting off the cobwebs and hitting 2025 full steam ahead!
Everyone’s favourite time of the year, going back to work. Although we all wish we could stay on the beach or in the bush in our 4WD it is time to go back to reality and get back to the grind.
We kicked off on Monday 6th of January cleaning up the shop and getting ready for the year with some upgrades on the BOC FORD BARRA rear bumper, getting the brake lines fitted and cutting some pieces of fender to fit the very large but very necessary 37" tyres. The exterior of the Ford is slowly but surely getting to where we want it, and it’s getting closer to being shipped off for all the necessary mechanical parts to be built and fitted to get the BARRA roaring.
Check out these photo updates of the BARRA.
Early Monday morning we had a returning client call us about a shock mount failure on his Conquerer Caravan. The right shock mount had completely been destroyed on a their trip back from Groenrivier. Luckily, he had extreme experience in “bush fixes”. With a couple of hose clamps you can change the world.
We were able to rebuild the shock mount for the damaged right hand side and also completely rebuilt the left mount. No need for any future bush fixes!
To top off the week, we got our first big custom project of the year. No better way to kick off the year than building a custom front and rear bumper with double spare wheel carriers for a 200 Series Land Cruiser. Keep your eye out on our socials with daily updates as we are planning something quite spectacular.
Last but not least, we have a couple of bin slides that we have on order. One is a custom-built bin slide with a couple of drawers to make more efficient use of his space and storage, and another for a half-bin slide to be able to get those hard-to-reach crates that always end up in the back.
2025 is going to be a good year! 2025 is going to be our year! We are very excited to take on this year with all of you. We can’t wait to see what the year brings and what custom build ideas you can bring to us.
Happy Trails,
BOC Team
